Giveaway: Xetum Stinson Watch

Who won the giveaway? It would be nice to find out or for it to be listed on the post itself, otherwise anyone can post fake giveaways to create publicity and not ever give anything away lol.

I think that the desing of watches like Xetum and Lum Tec is awesome because they use the minimalism to make really beautiful watches that looks so great for everyone that enjoy the style and details. I know that this king of desings always going to be on the top, over other “ modern ” brands that made digital or led watches.

The Xetum line-up are some of the best looking "modern" designs. Most fall too far on the side of trendy...

I think the off-white looks particularly great.

I still love the Mr Jones watch, "The Accurate". Strangely morbid compared to my usual take on life, but it works for me. Mr. Jones has quite a few interesting & fresh designs. Just need one that's built like a tank without the bulk . .

If price is no object, then the Richard Mille "Extra Flat Automatic" RM 033 watch with the Arabic numerals would be one of my favorite contemporary watches. But in the real world, the Xetum Stinson has a great clean "techie" look (love the computer-like slashes in the zeros) and yet looks classy enough to wear with a suit.

I might be too late for this giveaway, but I really would love to have a IWC Da Vinci of any variation. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love the look of most Lum-Tec watches, their dials are clean and contemporary. However they aren't very dressy, and that's why I love the Xetum watches.

Big fan of the simple Lum-Tec look like the C4.

The Xetum Tyndall is certainly my favorite watch with a modern design. I really like the Xetum design philosophy and also their eco-awareness.

I would have to say I like the RED8 automatic collection best for contemporary design. Specifically, the world market themed one.

Swiss made auto. w/ eta 2824 in a cool looking case, would be great watch on the wrist!!!

My favorite modern watches ar the HW opus series, but the Xetum being from Cali is awesome too!

The Stinson is nice. I like the Bell and Ross Carbon.

One of my favorite modern watches is the Romain Jerome Black Moon Dust DNA Chronograph, very cool watch!

From modern designs I'd surely wear the cabestan without feeling embarrassing.

I would say that the Legacy Machine 1 by MB&F epitomises a modern take on contemporary and, somewhat paradoxically, a contemporary take on modern techniques. Additionally, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Busser at Salon QP and he is an absolute gent! Great to see the head of a top brand sit at a stall and chat with people who can't afford his work.

I've found that the whole line of watches from Linde Werdelin has really grown on me. A year ago I would have told you they weren't for me, but the more I look at them, the more I want them--especially the SpidoSpeed. Absolutely striking.

I like this Xetum Stinson a lot because of the simple design and it quality ETA movement. This is an awesome watch!!!

One timepiece that is one of my favorites is the Cabestan Trapezium. I'd love to see that little chain in action.

Here in New Zealand a Xetum would make me the envy of a few friends, I love the simplicity and balance of the design. It really couldn't be a cleaner design in my eyes.

Others would include the Henry Watch which I have pledged to in Kickstarter and the Mondial watch which whilst borrowing heavily from the well known clock appears fresh and contemporary rather than staid and old fashioned.

When I think modern, I think MB&F - the HM4 (and every other one of their machines) is pretty amazing.

My current favorite contemporary watch is the Nomos Tangomat. Its design is timeless and minimal.

I especially like the Spring Drive Seikos like the SNR005, with their sword like hands, beautiful.

I love the Xetum style and design simple and unique. My favorite other curent watch is the Bremont ALT1-Z, it is a modern watch with a flair to the past. I am also a fan of the equipe watches, especially the Grill.

A few of my favorite watches with modern designs are the Perrelet Turbine, and the Linde Werdelin SpidoLite II. What I really like about Xetum watches are the hidden lugs.

I've had my eye on the Xetum brand since the first review I read posted on this blog. As far as a brand I like for a contemporary look, I am partial to the Devon Tread 1. I think the look is very modern industrial but at the same time sophisticated and unique. It is a watch that I feel would work well on your wrist at a polo match or on top of a Harley.

I've been contemplating the Xetum for quite some time, but if I had my druthers (and enough cash), I'd pick up the IWC Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph.

I like watches with a lot of functions, like Breitling Navitimer 1461, but on the other hand i love also very simple looking watches for their elegance like IWC Ingenieur automatic. Xetum looks very interesting and elegant.

I'm a big fan of these Xetum watches, along with this look I also like the clean faces of Lum-Tec watches, much more modern than traditional.

I'm a big fan of the lugless design embraced by the likes of Xetum, Giuliano Mazzuoli and Uniform Wares. It's only a matter of time, so to speak, until I get one of these on my wrist!
